The Shack and Greenies!

At the shack we like the planet, after all we sort of depend on it so we have taken a few steps to minimise how we impact on it.

	Sure we use electricity, but all of our sparks come from sustainable energy through Ergon Energy. We feel it is the least we can do to ensure that money can be spent by Ergon on this technology.
	We also use gas instead of sparks where we can.
	Our oil is sent back to our supplier where it is turned into Bio Diesel and used in their trucks.
	We recycle cardboard packaging.
	We try to minimise the amount of plastic used in store and by our customers. And if we can we use biodegradable plastics as long as they are food grade of course.
	We recycle cans through the scouts movement.

Although we realise we do have a footprint we will always look for ways to reduce this. If you ideas please let us know at environment@bigburgershack.com.au and help us help the planet.
